Practice M/T/TH: John Paul II HS (Plano) 10-Noon and Rockwall High 5-7pm
Dates: May 18th - July 11th and Championships for qualifiers, for the intermediate to advanced track athlete (age 12+) Culminating with competition at the USATF Qualifiers Track Meet Qualifiers will have an opportunity to compete at the USATF Jr. Olympic Nationals, College Station, TX Cost: $500 Fee includes: Eight weeks of training (starting in June), with event specific coaches, at top HS facilities, USATF / TAAF meet registration (3 competitions / Qualifier Meets), uniform, shirt, sling and water bottle (while supplies last). *Payment options available. **please note we require you to create the USATF Jr. account ($25), our team code is 26-0368. Then provide your USATF# upon registration, so all information can stay with the athlete. Hurdle Performance Group Track Club (HPG Track Club) will be a select track club program for advanced youth (MS/HS) competitors in: 100, 200, 100/110 hurdles, 300 hurdles, 400/800 runners, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Discus, Javelin throwers, and Multi-Event Athletes.
Our goal is to develop athletes wanting a high level of skill and coaching. Committed sprinters, jumpers, throwers and hurdlers are encouraged to join, ages 12+. Cross-sport athletes are also encouraged to attend, to maintain their track and field success. Hurdle / Jumps / Throws Practices will be Monday/Tuesday/Thursday at one of two 1.5 hour sessions at JPII HS or Rockwall HS. Pole Vault Practice will be in Rockwall. There will be an additional 5-7pm practice for Heptathletes / Decathletes. Multi-event athletes can attend any/all sessions. Competitions are typically on Saturdays. Coaches recognize competition from USATF Members and help build an athlete's resume. We will compete in the Southwest Regional USATF Jr. Track and Field Championships with goals to qualify for Nationals. We may compete at a few local TAAF Circuit Meets and the TAAF Regional/State meet to supplement training and for non-qualifiers of USATF Jr. National Championships. This will be a competitive team-oriented program. |
